We offer a single, sustainable, not-for-profit price for each of our antiretroviral medicines, in a total of 69 countries. This includes all least developed countries, all low income countries and all of sub-Saharan Africa – these countries represent 80% of all people living with HIV.
In addition, we offer a tiered pricing approach in middle income countries.
We believe that our response is not only the responsible thing do to, it is equitable by addressing the challenges in countries where the HIV pandemic is greatest. At the same time it makes sound business sense, which ensures we can continue to provide not-for-profit medicines on a long-term and sustainable commitment.
