ViiV Healthcare has made significant investments in research to support a pipeline of new antiretroviral medicines; scientific progress in HIV is marked by developing new therapies that can provide benefits over existing medicines’ efficacy, side effect and resistance profiles. As well as the three compounds that have reached Phase II or Phase III clinical trials, ViiV Healthcare is also exploring a further 16 molecules to develop potential new antiretroviral treatments.
