Reducing the Impact of Lost to Follow Up

The key aim of the project is to accurately estimate the percentage of people lost to follow-up in the Spanish HIV care cascade and successfully identify the characteristics of those less likely to remain in care.

The long-term goal is to implement a plan to address the concerns of patients and reasons for dropping out of care. This will aid in providing support to the people that most at risk and increasing the number attending follow-up appointments and retained in care. The initiative will be implemented in the most vulnerable regions with the support of key local stakeholders.
