HIV in Primary Care – Doing the Right Thing

Aim

The aim of the HIV in care: Doing the right thing project is to increase awareness of HIV risk factors and symptoms, as well as emphasise the importance of recognising at risk populations, amongst GPs. A key objective is to double the current testing rates across target areas in South London, through an inspiring, impactful campaign that resonates with GPs.

The long-term aim is to normalise the practice of offering HIV tests in surgeries, thus reducing the burden of late HIV diagnosis.
