The annual Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI), taking place in Boston from 22-25 February, brings together experts in basic, translational and clinical HIV research from around the world. It is the premier forum for translating clinical findings into tangible progress against the HIV pandemic. We are excited to be a part of this unique opportunity to exchange expertise and network with international experts and up-and-coming investigators.
CROI has facilitated the presentation of some of the most important discoveries in the field, and ultimately, has accelerated the progress of HIV/AIDS research. At this year’s conference, ViiV Healthcare will be presenting data on our pipeline and portfolio assets.
CROI is a key platform facilitating the opportunity for our scientific experts to meet with leaders in the field of HIV to advance innovative treatment and prevention options for people living with HIV (PLHIV) and those at risk of infection. We believe this kind of collaboration with experts and external partners is crucial to advancing the science behind HIV treatment, prevention and care.
“We firmly believe that our success in advancing the science behind HIV treatment, prevention and cure through innovative R&D is in large part due to our focus on partnerships.”
- Dr John Pottage, ViiV Healthcare’s Chief Scientific and Medical Officer, reinforces the significance of scientific collaboration in the HIV field.
